Green Instruments has successfully supplied both water monitoring systems and continuous emissions monitoring systems for two vessels in UNI:ON’s fleet. The decision to replace the existing systems from another manufacturer stemmed from persistent issues with performance and durability, as well as communication and maintenance difficulties.

When evaluating alternative solutions, product quality and reliable service support were key criteria for UNI:ON. To the convenience of user, maintenance kits tailored with essential components are shipped directly to the vessel on a fixed interval, as UNI:ON concludes: “The maintenance kit is packed with user-required parts, which are cost-effective, and the overall lifetime is longer than other manufacturers, making it easier to experience cost savings.”.

Daily maintenance is simultaneously simplified with more stable sensors, thoroughly defined replacement cycles, and easy access to calibration. After receiving training and certification from Green Instruments, the onboard crew can handle general maintenance and adjustments by themselves.
