Certificate of Design Assessment by ABS

Green Instruments is pleased to announce that we have achieved the Certificate of Design Assessment by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for our G1000 and G2000 products.

This achievement will potentially lead to a greater market penetration for Green Instruments products in the US market. This Product Design Assessment is intended for installation on ABS classed vessels, MODU or facility which is in existence or under contract for construction on the date of the ABS Rules or specifications used to evaluate the Product.

The G1000 Smoke Density Monitor is designed to monitor the opacity of the exhaust emission in uptakes after boilers, incinerators and engines. G1000 is a particular robust system that is well suited to resist the extreme working environment in and around smoke stacks.

The G2000 Ambient Oil Mist Detector is designed to monitor the oil mist leakage in an open space such as engine/pump rooms and others rooms with hydraulic installations. The G2000 provides the early alarm on the formation of oil mist at the atmosphere to identify the risk of fire hazard.
