A new partnership with leading shipping and marine supplier company Franman strengthens Green Instruments’ position as an innovative, renowned supplier of gas analysis equipment for safe and environmental-friendly maritime transport.

Furthering the global climate efforts takes strong partnerships. That goes for the maritime transport sector as well, where strong collaboration is the foundation for expanding the awareness and use of Green Instruments’ products in new markets where they can benefit the safety of crew, cargo and the environment all across the globe.

In March 2023, we entered into a partnership with Franman, the leading shipping and marine supplier company that offers shipbuilding equipment, spare parts, ship repairs and service, ship supplies, security, underwater cleaning and consulting to shipowners in Greek and international markets, primarily in the Far East.

Sales Manager of Green Instruments, Claus Yderstræde, says:

“When choosing partnerships, it is important to us to aim for the top. Franman is a highly renowned agent for principals on the international shipping market, and after the initial contact, we both felt a strong alignment between the values, visions and work ethics of our two companies. Now, after several months’ collaboration, Franman has already successfully strengthened our position and visibility and brought us closer to potential new clients of the highest value.”

Quality products for a crucial market

At Franman, the quality of Green Instruments’ products and the commitment to the green agenda were among the deciding factors when entering into the partnership, Franman CEO, Costis Frangoulis, says:

”At Franman, we have always sought to align ourselves with brands and companies that are synonymous with quality, innovation, and sustainability – qualities which we recognized in Green Instruments. The decision to enter into a partnership with them was greatly influenced by their leading position in the gas analyzing market, their commitment to creating effective and reliable solutions, and the alignment that exists between our values and our goals.”

He emphasizes that Green Instruments’ products fit in well with Franman’s other principals, not least because of the strong potential that the products hold, both on the Greek market and globally:

“We are happy that this partnership enables us to further expand our portfolio of high-quality products. The shipping industry is an integral part of the world economy and its regulations, and it is an industry that prioritizes safety and environmental responsibility. With its advanced gas analyzing solutions, Green Instruments fits perfectly into this landscape, meeting the sector's needs and regulatory requirements,” he says.

Perfect alignment of values

Among other things, the partnership means that Franman functions as Green Instruments’ agent in the Greek and international markets. This includes identifying relevant clients and projects, as well as establishing contact and setting up meetings between Green Instruments and potential clients.

“We very quickly felt that Franman delivered on their promises. Even before we had formally signed the partnership agreement, orders and meetings started to roll in. I am very impressed with Franman’s performance so far and have high hopes for a very successful partnership,” Claus Yderstræde says.

This sentiment is mirrored at Franman as well, where Costis Frangoulis particularly emphasizes Green Instruments’ technical expertise and clear customer focus as strong points:

“Our initial impression of the cooperation with Green Instruments has been very positive. Your team is dedicated, knowledgeable, and understands the importance of maintaining open lines of communication, and you clearly share our policy for a customer-focused approach and a forward-looking business strategy. In addition, we expect to learn from your expertise in the gas analyzing field, which will undoubtedly benefit our team's understanding and capabilities in that area. We look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership for many years to come,” Costis Frangoulis finishes.

”At Franman, we have always sought to align ourselves with brands and companies that are synonymous with quality, innovation, and sustainability – qualities which we recognized in Green Instruments”
